Prosecutors charged Steven James Franke, 39, with Terrorist Threat, Resisting Arrest for a Felony, Property Damage, and Misusing 911. Court documents state that dispatchers said that Franke called 911 about 17 times on Friday, January 24. He reportedly said, “I’ll call again when I’m out on the streets and want to kill a cop or some ****.” At 10:53 pm on Friday, police tried to contact Franke at a Columbia hotel.
