Interesting Bristol race. I thought it was.. Good.. Ty Gibbs.. I mean.. I keep expecting him to win, he keeps getting close.. you have to wonder if it's just a matter of time and once he breaks through..

JGR has pretty well dominated the playoffs so far. CBell has to be one of the favorites at New Hampshire.

While Bristol was really tire management.. There were some names at the front you just don't see too much. While Hocevar.. You know, I think if he were on a major team he probably would have a couple of wins by now.. Let's be honest, while there's not as big a gap between the haves and have nots anymore.. There's still a gap.. I don't know why I would consider, at this point, Hocevar a surprise winner or a surprise that he's running up front. He does have a bit too much of the "Checkers or Wreckers" mentality.. And.. I think he does need to show a little more respect and restraint on the track, but..

Rumor has it that a 3-3-4 format is under consideration for the playoffs. So, the playoffs would go to 10 races with eliminations after 3, then 3, and a championship run of 4 races between 8 drivers.

I think I'd more prefer a 3-3-3-3 situation. I think having 4 drivers at the end is the right number AND having 3 races to decide the championship.. I mean, honestly, I prefer the old non-playoff format, but.. If you're doing the playoffs.. I think that's the way to do it.
