I think people are just a little confused by your hostility. You’re coming off like you just signed up to get the “free” movies and are mad that you found ads. Did you just get Plex or have you had it awhile?

We’re just confused because most people that use Plex, I am pretty sure, think this new ad supported movies thing is stupid. We’ve been using the software for years for its intended purpose and then this drops. At worst it confuses our users on our servers who are less tech savvy because these movies show up in search and they don’t realize it’s not content from our server and wonder why they get ads.

So here you come along, someone who actually seems to want these, but you are mad they have ads. I don’t know any service that offers up movies or tv for free without ads.

Maybe you’re exactly the kind of person Plex wants since you seem to want to give them money to watch ad free. If you are ready to pay money to remove ads, then why aren’t you just subscribing to a real streaming service like Netflix or Prime that actually has large catalogue of titles and original content?

No one is trying to shill for Plex like you suggested in your first reply. No one is trying to troll you. I think we’re just a bit perplexed is all. No pun intended.
