Members can download and view their EPF passbook online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of EPFO.

Step 2: Go to 'For Employees' option, under the 'Our Services' section

Step 3: Click on the 'Member Passbook' option

Step 4: Log in using your UAN and password

Step 5: You will see your EPF account under 'Select Member ID' 

Step 7: Click on the 'View Passbook' option

Step 8: Your EPF Passbook will open in a new tab in PDF format

Employees can download EPF passbooks online using the UMANG app they do not need to visit the EPF portal to view the passbook. Here are the steps you should follow:

Step 1: Download the UMANG app on your mobile phone or laptop.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'All Services' tab and click the 'EPFO' option.

Step 3: Open 'Employee Centric Service' and click the 'View Passbook' option.

Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number after entering your UAN.

Step 5: Enter that OTP on the UMANG portal to proceed further.

Step 6: The Member IDs of all EPF accounts linked with your UAN will be displayed. 

Step 7: Click on the selected ID to view or download your EPF passbook.
