If your university provides a subscription to Scopus, you can easily register and activate remote access to use Scopus from any device. Follow these steps to enable remote access:
Sign In: Visit Scopus and click on "Sign in" at the top of the navigation bar. Sign in using your Elsevier credentials through the opened Elsevier credentials area.
Apply for Remote Access: In the window that appears, locate and click on "Apply for Remote Access." Note: If you don't see the "Apply for remote access" page, it could be because you've already configured remote access, completed the process before, or it's disabled by your institution.
Enter Email Address: Enter your email address and click "Continue."
Select Organization: You may be prompted to select your organization from a list. Choose your institution and click "Continue."
Enter Password: Enter your password associated with your Elsevier credentials and click "Continue."
Confirmation Email: Check your email for a confirmation message. Open the email and click on the remote access activation link provided. Important Note: After a successful registration in the system, you'll be granted permission for remote access for 180 days. Once this period elapses, you'll need to log into Scopus again through a device connected to your institution's network (VNZ device) to extend your access automatically for another 180 days. By following these steps, you can enjoy the convenience of accessing Scopus remotely, ensuring seamless access to valuable research materials provided by your institution's subscription. (责任编辑:) |
