Requirements per Division Walk-Trot Equitation
Walk-Trot riders are those who have had no more than 24 weeks of instruction and who have not competed in a mounted competition which required them to canter
Riders to be judged at the walk and trot both ways of the ring. Diagonals will count
Tests 1 – 4, 9 may be asked
Walk-Trot-Canter eligible riders are those who have had more than 24 weeks of instruction and who have not competed in a mounted competition that required them to jump more than eighteen inches
Once the Beginning Walk-Trot-Canter rider has accumulated 18 points, s/he must move to Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter Equitation
To be judged at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Leads and diagonals to count
Tests 1-5, 9 may be asked
Walk Trot Canter eligible riders are those who have not competed in any over fences class higher than 3’ in any competition, nor have competed in any recognized competition

Novice riders on the flat are those who have won no more than 5 Hunter Seat equitation classes on the flat in recognized
Novice riders over fences have won no more than 6 classes in any over fences class 3’ or higher in recognized competitions
Novice Equitation over Fences riders must have had at least 6 months continuous professional instruction over fences within the past year
Flat: To be judged at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Tests 1-9 may be asked
Over Fences: To be shown over sixor more fences at least 2' 3" in height and not to exceed 2' 9", and including at least one change of direction. Fence width not to exceed height. Fences must have wings at least 12' higher than the highest rail. Tests 1-6, 9, and 12 & 13 may be asked. Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat and over Fences
Intermediate riders on the flat are those who have won 6-10 Hunter Seat equitation classes on the flat in recognized competitions
Intermediate riders over fences have won no more than 6 classes in any over fences class 3’6” or higher in recognized competitions
Flat: To be judged at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Tests 1- 9 may be asked
Over Fences: To be shown over six or more fences at least 2' 6" in height and not to exceed 3', including at least one change of direction. Fence width not to exceed height. Tests 1-9, and 12 & 13 may be asked
Open riders on the flat are those who have won more than 10 Hunter Seat equitation classes on the flat in recognized competitions
Open riders over fences are those who have won more than 6 classes in any over fences class 3’6” or higher in recognized competitions
Flat: To be judged at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Tests 1-11 may be asked
Over Fences: To be shown over six or more fences at least 2' 9" in height and not to exceed 3' 3" in height and 3' in width including at least one change of direction. Tests 1-13 may be asked (责任编辑:) |
