Do local business owners recommend BayArea Riders Forum? Visit this page to learn about the business and what locals in San Jose have to say.

The Bay Area Riders Forum, BARF, has been around since 2002 and it likely is the most integrated motorcycle community in the country. This is because we value our members and try to make the user experience a good one by keeping discussions respectful and keeping annoying pop up ads or flashing side bar advertising out! We believe that this helps integrate advertisers into our community, giving our sponsors a chance to provide information through our promotions forum or interacting with our users directly in the forum. Barf is the first ever AMA Online Motorcycle Community as well.

Barf garners 2.5 to 3 million page views a month. Between 6 and 7 thousand different IP addresses visit barf every day. Over 30 thousand different ones a month. Most days 2,500 to 3,000 of our over 50K registered members log in.

Barf is also a member of the CHP 11-99 Foundation; this is because we respect those that watch out for us on the road. The 11-99 Foundation provides funding to the families of CHP Officers killed in the line of duty.

Barf provides a LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) Forum where LEO’s help answer questions and provide clarity to the laws that guide us on the road. Barf contains the 1Rider Forum which provides a great resource for motorcyclist who wish to understand the street smarts and strategies that keep the rubber side down.

We also have a Riding Skills Forum guided by MSF Rider Coaches where people can find tools to get better and discuss specific skill applications. This forum sees visits from Keith Code and other notable well known personalities.

We have three political action forums that are special to us because we believe in protecting our right to ride. Cycle Gear partners with us on those and helps spread the word when needed.

We love racing too! Barf has held the AFM #1 plate twice with Chris Siglin. We help Deion Campbell to the AFM over all Championship in ’15. In fact Deion also captured the 600 and the 750 championships too! Barf has been winning AFM championships since ’06 when we saw some special in a 16 year old named Bobby Fong. We have been the Formula Pacific Class Sponsor 3 times and also host the AFM chat forum. We support the sport!!!

Barf socials and Barf Rallys continue to bring riders together face to face to enjoy the ride, each other and strengthen our position as a solid member of California’s Motorcycle society.

The rise of our dirt bike rallies has brought us into the OHV community in a much stronger way and it is one of our main goals to support that as well. We feel dirt skills transfer to the street and make safer riders. Keeping riding opportunities for riders to enjoy the dirt is very important to us.

Barf owner Denny Kobza is on two State Motorcycle Committees:
• California Motorcycle Safety Program Advisory Committee
• California Mission 12 Motorcycle Safety Committee

Barf is actually respected by the State of California when it comes to motorcycling. We are involved with Political Action when it comes to Motorcycle Issues. We invite others to contact us on any issues and we will try to rally support for our right to ride!

Barf is owned by Denny and Loura Kobza as a private California Corporation: NET EXTREME SPORTS, INC.

Our goal is to provide that platform for motorcyclist to thrive and enjoy life on two wheels. Denny has been a lifelong motorcyclist starting riding at 8 yo. He raced motocross after college and then moved to Road Racing with the AFM, AMA and WERA collecting a 24Hour Race win before retiring. He continues to ride often and attend the hugely popular BARF Rally’s
