Coach Calvin McHenry

My name is Calvin McHenry and it is my honor to be the coach for North Creek Girls Basketball. I bring 30 years of experience coaching Girls basketball, 28 years as head coach and 2 years as an assistant. During that time my record includes 400 wins, 12 trips to the state tournament,multiple league and district championships, also being honored as the Coach of the Year several times; most notably the 1991 Seattle Times and recently 2017 Greater Spokane League Coach of the Year. I have experienced great success in building programs at Hazen, Tahoma, and Mount Tahoma and taking those schools to their first state appearances. I believe in teaching athletes to push themselves to be the best person, the best student, and the best athlete in that order and the wins will eventually come. I am excited to build a foundation of support with the staff and community which I believe is the key to making our program successful.
