That’s a null point. My brother and I signed up to ROBLOX as children, when a guardian email was required. My brother doesn’t play anymore - his account was terminated retrospectively for an asset he uploaded in 2018. My account was terminated at the exact same time to the minute. There is no way I could have logged in to “avoid an enforcement action taken against another account”. The fact remains that the alt-detection system is not up to scratch and is catching far too many innocent users in its net. Forgive me if this is not what you’re implying, but I don’t understand this attitude of needing to defend ROBLOX at every opportunity on the basis that I “should’ve known better”. Look no further than a recent BBC investigation into how ROBLOX regularly ignores concerned parents and David Baszucki’s comments essentially implying that if you have concerns, then that’s your own problem. I had no idea enforcement bans existed until my account of 13 years was hit with one. Any human moderator with an ounce of rational thinking would quickly conclude that my brother and I were separate users. Regardless of all that, my brother is still unaware what the asset he was terminated for even is, because it was uploaded over 6 years ago. It may have been an innocent asset, but we’ll never know because the moderation “team” doesn’t engage with users. Until these issues are addressed, I’d encourage users at the very least to avoid public wifi, separate your account emails, and more importantly stop giving ROBLOX your money. (责任编辑:) |
