WWE 2K24 may be where you "Finish Your Story" but in the case of this year's MyRise, the story is just beginning. This guide is going to cover everything you need to know to get started on your journey. Of all the decisions your character will make, the first is choosing what story will you tell. The story for the Undisputed (male) path of WWE 2K24 centers around a young wrestler who will soon become known as "The Dark Horse". You have been a part of the RAW roster for a year or two, you have yet to do anything of note but aren't quite unremarkable enough to get fired. Then Roman Reigns vacates the title and you are given the opportunity to compete in a tournament at SummerSlam. Will you rise to the challenge or let the chance of a lifetime slip by? The other story, Unleashed (female), starts with an Indie Promotion based in Las Vegas known as TBD. You play as a co-founder and current champion of the rebel promotion who has declined tryouts for the WWE in the past. Known among her peers as "The Captain" you find yourself having to choose between your identity as an indie wrestler, and achieving your potential as a WWE Superstar. If you already have a Created Superstar you can import them when selecting a Slot for your MyRise Save. Once again you can make a character from the ground up in this mode or select from 16 brand new Personas. In the last iterations of the 2K franchise, you had categories to choose from based on different themes. In WWE 2K24 you have a choice between characters with far more detail and still can fully customize them. Don't feel pressured to have your attire perfect as the only thing you won't be able to change later is your Superstar's Fighting Style. Pro Tip: A default Persona is at the bottom of the list, but you can remove the attires from any of the Personas to make it your own. Start Your WWE 2K24 MyRiseNow that you have selected your story and character, you are ready to play (or spend hours on customization). Initially, Gameplay is much like it was last year. There are Challenge Matches, Optional Story Matches, and Must Play Story Matches, with more than enough chances to complete them all before moving through a Story Gate and moving on to the next Chapter. There will be a warning screen if you are about to progress the story. It is worth taking the time to complete all the Optional and Challenge Matches to get all the rewards such as attire and attribute points.
From the Attributes Screen, you will see six categories to spend your points on. Viewing the details of these categories will show you what an individual attribute is at. These are unique to each Superstar based on Fighting Style. During the game, you will have chances to select from different dialogue options and these are mostly for flavor and don't affect the overall outcome of the story.
