You may get Torsades de Pointes, a kind of ventricular tachycardia or fast heartbeat in your lower heart chambers. This is why you have to start taking this medicine in the hospital. Healthcare providers need to monitor you and watch for this abnormal and potentially dangerous heartbeat.
