17 May 2025 Out now: the updated 2025-2026 IBSF World Cup calendar

Lausanne (IBSF) The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) released an updated version of the sports calendar for the 2025-2026 season which, for the World Cup series, will see bobsleigh and skeleton athletes compete in seven disciplines on eight different tracks in six countries.

The first and highly exciting stop will be at the Eugenio Monti Sliding Centre in Cortina d'Ampezzo (ITA) – which will also be the venue for the Olympic Winter Games in February 2026. Prior to the start of the World Cup, a 10-day International Training Period (7-16 November) will provide the IBSF athletes with the opportunity to get familiar with the rebuilt Olympic track.

The 2025-2026 World Cup will also include races in Innsbruck (AUT), Lillehammer (NOR), Sigulda (LAT) as well as events in Winterberg (GER), St. Moritz (SUI / incl. European Championships) and Altenberg (GER) in the run-up to the season’s pinnacle, the 2026 Olympic Winter Games (6-22 February 2026).

The World Cup season for IBSF athletes promises to end on an emotional note with the Final to take place on the newly reopened Königssee sliding track (2-8 March 2026), which was partially destroyed during flooding in the summer of 2021.
